If you are interested or even considering volunteering in the school, classroom or on a field trip this coming school year please visit the following PPS page to complete the district Background Check Form. It is very important that you do this prior to any field trip or volunteer opportunity. Please complete the process as soon as possible even if you don't foresee volunteering till later in the year. Alameda's office will notify me when one of my classroom parents has been cleared..
Nice post.... But we can't take the each and every person who are interested in volunteering. We have to check their backgrounds because they have to work for school.

The person applying to become one of your staff should head to the nearest law enforcement office for fingerprinting. This data will be sent to the Investigation Department so an Identification Record will be made. This document contains records of any previous arrests. It also gives you additional information regarding naturalization as well as military service rendered.
