Geography Week:
In light of geography week students are encouraged to wear a shirt that displays the name of a place. It can be as local as an Alameda shirt or more global like a foreign soccer jersey or I heart NY... or anything in between.

Reminder:
I have asked students to bring in 2-3 leaves. Please no more or we'll need a rake at the end of the rather than a broom :)

Fall Leaves

Please have your child collect and bring in beautiful fall leaves this Friday! I know kids tend to like the really big ones but try steering them to typical sized ones :) We will be doing an art project with them. Due to space, please do not bring the leaves in before Friday, thank you!

Lelooska Lodge!

Reminder:
Tomorrow is our field trip to Lelooska Lodge! We will be eating outside at a park for lunch but the performance we are watching will be in a warm lodge. Having students dress in layers is suggested!

* No electronic devices in vehicles (Gameboys, DVD’s, iPods, etc)

* No snacks! Please do not provide snacks. There are several allergies in our class that warrant caution. The only food eaten should be the lunch the child brings at lunch time.

* Students may read if they don't get carsick (I will leave that up to you to decide whether you'll allow it or not)
